3 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Lucas Giolito continued his strong second half on Wednesday versus the Kansas City Royals. Giolito was pulled in the bottom of the seventh inning with a runner on third base and no outs, but would finish with a line of four hits, one run, one walk and seven strikeouts in six innings. Giolito has looked very sharp in three starts so far in the second half and has only allowed three runs in 21 innings with 18 strikeouts. Giolito earned a tough no-decision on Wednesday and will carry an 8-7 record with a 3.67 ERA in a rematch with the Royals on Tuesday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
