3 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Ian Happ went 1-for-3 with a walk and solo home run in Thursday's loss versus the Cincinnati Reds. Happ hit a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth to trim the lead to 7-4 at the time, but it wouldn't be enough to hold off the Reds. Happ came into the season as the Cubs leadoff hitter, but has put together a dismal showing offensively and has mostly been a bench option over the past month and a half. With the Cubs likely to deal Anthony Rizzo, Javier Baez and Kris Bryant, Happ should return to a full-time role, but he is still hitting just .181 with 10 home run and 26 RBI and should be avoided in all formats for now.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
