Eloy Jimenez Will Miss Second Consecutive Game
3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (groin) will be sidelined for his second straight game on Friday versus the Cleveland Indians. Jimenez exited Wednesday's contest due to groin tightness and will be replaced in the lineup by Brian Goodwin this evening. Jimenez remains day-to-day and the White Sox have every reason to be cautious with their talented outfielder. Jimenez missed the entire season with a torn pectoral muscle and has gone 2-for-11 with a home run and three RBI in the two games he has played since his return on Monday. Goodwin will bat seventh versus J.C. Mejia this evening. Goodwin has three hits over his last 20 at-bats and is a risky play in DFS this evening.
