Eloy Jimenez Will Miss Fourth Straight Game
3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (groin) will be sidelined for his fourth consecutive game on Sunday versus the Cleveland Indians. Jimenez exited Wednesday's contest due to groin tightness and has not played since. Jimenez remains day-to-day. The White Sox have every reason to be cautious with their talented outfielder after he missed the entire season with a torn pectoral muscle. The slugger was activated on Monday and has gone 2-for-11 with a home run and three RBI in the two games he has played since his return on Monday. When healthy, Jimenez is one of the best sluggers in the game. Outfielder Brian Goodwin will replace Jimenez and bat seventh versus Cal Quantrill this afternoon. Goodwin had a nice game on Saturday with a solo home run and is a dart throw in DFS this afternoon.
