3 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Rafael Ortega went off in Sunday's contest versus the Washington Nationals. Ortega went 4-for-4 with a single, three home runs and five RBI. Ortega has been swinging a hot bat over the past month, but entered today's contest with just three homers on the season and six career homers. With the Cubs dealing the bulk of their offense in the past few weeks, Ortega has been leading off and playing regularly. The career journeyman is having a nice season and is worth a look in deeper leagues at the moment. Managers should expect a regression at some point, but ride him while he is hot.
