3 years agoChicago Cubs first baseman Frank Schwindel went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and a two-run home run in Friday's loss versus the Chicago White Sox. Schwindel is one of the many new faces in the Cubs lineup and has started the last four games at first base for the club. Schwindel has a minimum of one hit in the last four games with three RBI. The career journeyman appears to be the Cubs first baseman at the moment and has hit .243 with two home runs and six RBI in 37 at-bats between the Oakland Athletics and Cubs. Schwindel was hitting .296 with 17 homers and 49 RBI in Triple-A this season and is a dart throw in most formats moving forward.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
