Gavin Lux Set To Begin Rehab Assignment
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers middle infielder Gavin Lux (hamstring) will begin his rehab assignment for Triple-A Oklahoma City. Lux has been sidelined since July 19 with a left hamstring strain. Lux entered the season as the Dodgers second baseman and one of the more hyped prospects, but he hasn't delivered on the stat sheet. Prior to his injury, Lux was hitting .227 with six home runs and 37 RBI. With the acquisition of infielder Trea Turner, Lux no longer has a regular spot in the lineup and is likely to be relegated to a utility role. He can be avoided in all formats for now.
