Tim Anderson Picks Up Three Hits
3 years agoChicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson went 3-for-5 with two runs, a double and solo home run in Sunday's victory versus the Chicago Cubs. Anderson was originally scheduled to get a day of rest, but was later inserted into the lineup when Leury Garcia was scratched from the lineup. Anderson would leadoff the game with a home run off of Zach Davies in the top of the first inning and would finish a triple short of the cycle. Anderson has been in a bit of a cold streak and hopefully Sunday's performance will be what he needs to get going. Anderson is now hitting .296 with 11 home runs, 42 RBI and 16 stolen bases.
