3 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Joc Pederson isn't starting for the team on Wednesday as they take on the Cincinnati Reds and left-hander Wade Miley. In 379 plate appearances this season, Pederson is batting .246 with a .317 on-base percentage, 14 home runs, and a pair of stolen bases. He's been particularly effective at the dish as of late, hitting .293 with a .370 on-base percentage and three home runs in 92 plate appearances since being acquired by Atlanta. Guillermo Heredia is starting in center field for Pederson on Wednesday. On the season, the 30-year-old is batting .237 with a .317 on-base percentage and four home runs in 284 plate appearances.
