3 years agoChicago Cubs infielder/outfielder Patrick Wisdom went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Thursday's blowout loss versus the Milwaukee Brewers. Wisdom was part of back-to-back home runs with Frank Schwindel in the bottom of the seventh inning off of Daniel Norris. Wisdom has been one of the success stories of this year's waiver wire pickups and is one of the lone bright spots left in the Cubs lineup. Wisdom will lose some protection with catcher Willson Contreras (knee) landing on the 10-day injured list, but he should still offer plenty of power. Wisdom is now hitting .265 with 18 home runs and 36 RBI. Wisdom is worth rostering in most formats.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
