3 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Ian Happ went 1-for-3 with two walks, two runs and a two-run home run in Friday's loss versus the Miami Marlins. Happ crushed his home run off of David Hess in the top of the eighth inning to trim the Marlins lead to 14-9 at the time. Happ has gone back to playing regularly with the Cubs dealing many of their offensive starters at the trade deadline, but he hasn't taken advantage and is hitting a weak .177 with 12 home runs and 30 RBI. Happ came into the season as a sleeper on many draft boards, but he has been a disappointment and managers can feel safe about leaving him on the waiver wire.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
