3 years agoChicago White Sox closer Liam Hendriks worked a perfect 1-2-3 inning with three strikeouts to earn his 27th save of the season on Monday versus the Oakland Athletics. The White Sox closer had been shaky entering the contest with a blown save and seven runs (six earned) allowed over his last two outings. Hendriks came back strong on Monday and it was the 11th time this season that he has struck out three batters in an inning. Hendriks will have plenty of save opportunities moving forward and managers should feel confident with him moving forward. The closer now owns a 3.35 ERA.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
