3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks earned his 14th victory of the season on Tuesday evening versus the Cincinnati Reds. Hendricks retired the first 15 batters he faced and finished with a line of three hits, one run, three walks and three strikeouts in six innings. The only run that the veteran allowed was a solo home run by Nick Castellanos in the bottom of the sixth inning. Hendricks was coming off of a bad start his last time out, but recovered this evening and is now 14-5 with a 4.04 ERA. Hendricks will look for his 15th victory in a favorable matchup versus the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
