Carson Wentz Anxious To Return Sooner
3 years agoIndianapolis Colts quarterback Carson Wentz (foot) is anxious to return to the field. According to head coach Frank Reich, the oft-injured signal-caller is getting "very antsy" to pick up the pace during his rehab efforts. The 28-year-old was originally slated to miss a few games during the regular season after undergoing foot surgery. However, it appears as if Wentz is willing to put in the work, making his presence under center in Week 1 against the Seahawks a realistic possibility. Nonetheless, the sixth-year veteran has played relatively well during his time in the league, compiling nearly 17,000 passing yards, 113 touchdowns, and 50 interceptions, although injuries have significantly lowered his fantasy ceiling at times.
