3 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI during Thursday's 8-4 win over the Baltimore Orioles. He hit a sacrifice fly in the seventh inning to give the Rays a 7-2 lead. The 26-year-old slapped a ground-rule double to left field in the eighth frame driving in his second run of the game. Meadows is currently in a 3-for-22 slump at the plate but has been a steady producer in 2021. The Rays outfielder is slashing .234/.323/.460 with 21 home runs, 81 RBI, 65 runs scored, and three stolen bases over 474 plate appearances. Despite the recent slump, fantasy managers should continue to start Meadows in all league formats as he should be able to turn things around soon.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
