Jalen Hurts Dealing With A Stomach Infection
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (stomach) was late scratched from Thursday's preseason game against the New England Patriots due to a stomach infection. He participated in pregame warmups but didn't feel too well heading into Thursday's contest. According to head coach Nick Sirianni, Jalen Hurts wasn't feeling well when he arrived at the stadium. The Eagles QB tried to go through pregame warmups but ended up exiting early. "He's fine now, and he's doing OK now." The 23-year-old tested negative for COVID-19 and later was diagnosed with a stomach infection. He will rest the next few days and look to rejoin the Eagles early next week. Fantasy managers can draft Hurts with confidence as a borderline QB1 after averaging 79.3 rushing yards on 12.7 attempts per game in 2020.
