3 years agoCleveland Browns tight end David Njoku reportedly wants to stay in Cleveland after his rookie contract expires following the 2021 season. According to ESPN's Tony Grossi, Njoku has asked his agent to begin pursuing a new deal with the team. This is quite a change from last preseason when Njoku expressed that he wanted to be traded after the team signed Austin Hooper and drafted Harrison Bryant. Whether the Browns decide to bring him back after the season remains to be seen but it is a positive development that Njoku is in the right mindset for the upcoming campaign.
