3 years agoCincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto continued his second-half power surge in a 5-3 win over the Miami Marlins on Friday. Votto went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk in the win, launching his two-run shot as part of a three-run fifth inning to help power the Reds over Miami. Votto has been hitting homers in bunches of late, having hit six over his past 15 games and 17 over the last 30 contests. Overall, Votto has a .282 average, 28 homers, 51 runs, 81 RBI, and a steal over 341 at-bats this season.--Matt T - RotoBaller
