3 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman (hamstring, quad) is expected to be activated from the injured list soon — possibly as early as Sunday or Monday, according to Jon Heyman of MLB Network. Bregman has been out of action since mid-June with a hamstring strain, and has since suffered several setbacks in his rehab. It appears though that he's finally ready to rejoin the Astros, as managers are eagerly awaiting the return of his bat to their lineup. Over 59 games this season, Bregman is slashing .275/.359/.428 with seven homers, one steal, 34 RBI and 37 runs scored. Keep an eye out for further updates over the next 48 hours, but be prepared for his return very soon.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
