3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth turned in a big performance in his team's preseason game against the Detroit Lions on Saturday. Freiermuth caught two of three targets for 19 yards and two touchdowns in the contest. The rookie tight end and veteran quarterback Ben Roethlisberger showed excellent chemistry, hooking up for an 11-yard and an eight-yard touchdown on consecutive drives in the first quarter. Freiermuth has earned some hype as a pass-catcher this preseason and could be in line for a big role right off the bat, although veteran Eric Ebron is still lurking. For now, Freiermuth is much more interesting as a dynasty stash than he is for redraft leagues.--Matt T - RotoBaller
