3 years agoMiami Marlins third baseman Brian Anderson is on the bench for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Reds. He went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI during Saturday's 7-4 loss to the Reds. The 28-year-old will get a routine day off. Anderson is slashing .237/.312/.360 with six home runs, 25 RBI, 20 runs, and four stolen bases over 234 plate appearances in 2021. Isan Diaz is starting at third base and batting sixth in Sunday's game. Diaz can be used as a streamer and is locked in at the plate in August.
