Willy Adames Exits Early With Left-Quad Discomfort
3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers shortstop Willy Adames (quad) was removed from Tuesday's game against the Cincinnati Reds with left quadriceps discomfort. He picked up the injury while running the bases and was removed from the game for precautionary reasons. Adames went 1-for-1 with a double and a run scored before exiting. The severity of the 25-year-old's injury is unknown at this time, and he's considered day-to-day. Adames was replaced in the game by Jace Peterson. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the situation, and updates should be provided after the game. Peterson would see an uptick in playing time if Adames were to miss any games.
