3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer (knee) is running the bases on Thursday and could be activated from the 10-day injured list as soon as Friday. The 31-year-old is eligible to come off the injured list and has been sidelined over a week with a Grade 1 left knee sprain. He will run the bases, and the Blue Jays will evaluate from there. Springer is slashing .269/.362/.610 with 16 home runs, 35 RBI, 40 runs scored, and two stolen bases over 210 plate appearances in 2021. The former Houston Astro has dealt with multiple injuries this season but has produced when healthy and will give fantasy managers a boost down the stretch.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
