Marvin Jones Jr. Expected To Play In Week 1
3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr. (shoulder) is expected to play in the regular-season opener against the Houston Texans. The 31-year-old sustained an AC sprain Monday's 23-21 preseason loss to the New Orleans. "He should be ready for the September 12 regular-season opener at Houston," per head coach Urban Meyer. Jones hauled in 76 catches on 115 targets for 978 and nine touchdowns over 16 games for the Lions in 2020. The veteran wideout is the Jaguars' No.1 wide receiver and is a borderline WR4 in most league formats. Jones is expected to be all systems go for Week 1.
