3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Shane McClanahan (9-4) allowed two earned runs on eight hits while striking out four across six innings during Friday's 6-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles. He picked up his ninth win of the season on Friday. His only mistake was surrendering a two-run shot to Orioles outfielder Austin Hays in the fifth inning. The southpaw has now allowed three earned runs or less in 13 straight starts. The 24-year-old has been the Rays' most consistent pitcher in 2021, owning a 3.59 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, and a 10.5 K/9 over 100 1/3 innings in 2021.
