3 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Vladimir Gutierrez struggled in a 6-1 loss to the Miami Marlins on Saturday. Gutierrez allowed five runs over three innings while he struck out two and allowed seven hits, including a three-run homer to Jesus Sanchez. Gutierrez took the loss, dropping his record to 9-4 with a 4.03 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, and 75 strikeouts over 96 innings of work. The rookie hurler didn't fare well on Saturday, although it was the second time he faced Miami in the past week. He will face off against the Detroit Tigers next time out.--Matt T - RotoBaller
