Sonny Gray Picks Up Seventh Win On Wednesday
3 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Sonny Gray allowed two runs over five innings in a 12-2 win over the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 2 of a Wednesday doubleheader. Gray struck out three and allowed just two hits in the outing. While he limited the Cardinals to just two hits, both of those hits went over the fence for solo homers. Gray now has a 7-6 record, 3.89 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and 127 strikeouts over 108 2/3 innings of work. The veteran righty will take on the Chicago Cubs next time out.
