3 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Tyler Mahle allowed four runs over five innings in a 7-4 win over the Detroit Tigers on Saturday. Mahle struck out eight and walked five on the way to picking up the win. The veteran right-hander was lucky to escape with a win after struggling with his control. Mahle threw just 66 of 106 pitches for strikes while issuing a season-high five walks. The right-handed hurler now has an 11-5 record, 3.76 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and 182 strikeouts over 153 1/3 innings of work. Mahle will face off against the St. Louis Cardinals next.--Matt T - RotoBaller
