3 years agoCleveland Browns kicker Chase McLaughlin will open the season as the starter in Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Head coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters after Monday's practice that it will be McLaughlin and not recently-signed Chris Naggar, who was added to the team's practice squad on Thursday. That was the first time that Stefanski publicly indicated who would serve as the team's kicker for the season opener. McLaughlin made four of his five field goals during the preseason while missing one of five extra points. The veteran kicker will be worth considering as a decent fantasy option for those streaming the position in what should be a high-scoring Week 1 game against Kansas City.--Matt T - RotoBaller
