Pat Freiermuth Not A Starting TE Option For Week 1
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth will make his NFL debut against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1. Buffalo represents a plus matchup for opposing tight ends as they allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to the position in 2020. Freiermuth was impressive during training camp as he looks to transition from Penn State to the NFL. That being said, the second-round rookie is unlikely to see a full-time role this early in his debut season. Look for Freiermuth to mix in on offense on Sunday but he is likely to lag behind Eric Ebron in tight end snaps in Week 1. Freiermuth should not be considered as a fantasy option for this weekend's contest.
