3 years agoCleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield gets a Week 1 rematch against a Kansas City Chiefs team that knocked his squad out of the playoffs in 2020. Mayfield and the Browns will head on the road to face off against the Chiefs in Arrowhead Stadium as 6.5-point underdogs in Week 1. This sets up as a plus matchup for Mayfield and the Cleveland passing attack as the Chiefs allowed the 11th-most fantasy points per game to the quarterback position in 2020. This game should be a high-scoring one with two quality offenses going toe-to-toe in a game with a 54-point over/under. The only thing not working in Mayfield's favor is a Cleveland offense that tends to skew run-heavy. That being said, the Browns could pass more than usual, especially if the Chiefs get out to an early lead. Treat Mayfield as a mid-range QB2 for the season opener this weekend.--Matt T - RotoBaller
