Tyler Mahle Allows Two Runs In No-Decision
3 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Tyler Mahle turned in a solid effort in a 4-2 win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday. Mahle allowed two runs over six innings while striking out six and walking two. His only mistake was a two-run homer off of the bat of Yadier Molina in the no-decision. Mahle is putting the finishing touches on a breakout season that has seen him post an 11-5 record, 3.73 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and 188 strikeouts in 159 1/3 innings of work. He will take on the Pittsburgh Pirates next time out.
