Sonny Gray Strikes Out Six In Loss To Cardinals
3 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Sonny Gray allowed two runs over seven innings in a 2-0 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday. Gray struck out six and walked one while taking the loss. His only mistake in the start was a two-run homer by Nolan Arenado in the first inning, which wound up being the only offense out of either team in the contest. Gray now has a 7-7 record, 3.80 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, and 141 strikeouts over 120 2/3 innings of work in 2021. He will face off against the Los Angeles Dodgers next.
