Pat Freiermuth Could See An Expanded Role In Week 2
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth had a quiet game in his NFL debut in Week 1, catching his lone target for 24 yards. He could have a larger role in store for him this weekend as starting tight end Eric Ebron (hamstring) popped up on the injury report on Thursday after missing practice. If Ebron were to miss his team's Week 2 game against the Las Vegas Raiders, Freiermuth would operate as the team's lead tight end against the Raiders. Freiermuth probably won't see a large enough target share even as the starter to be trustworthy in fantasy but he is on the radar as a cheap option in DFS contests this weekend.
