D.J. Chark Jr. An Intriguing Week 2 Option
3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver D.J. Chark Jr. is an intriguing Week 2 fantasy option after he caught three balls for 86 yards and a touchdown in Week 1 while also leading the team in targets with 12. Chark, who had a massive 16.3 aDOT in Week 1, is the clear deep threat in Jacksonville, and it appears that he will get the volume necessary to convert some of those deep shots into fantasy production against the Broncos in Week 2. Denver is strong upfront, but middling on the back end, and they allowed Giants receivers to score the ninth most fantasy points among NFL teams in Week 1. Chark should be started in most leagues, though his potential volatility should still be a consideration for managers with plenty of strong options.
