Eugenio Suarez Hits 31st Homer On Saturday
3 years agoCincinnati Reds third baseman Eugenio Suarez went 2-for-4 with a double and a two-run homer in an 8-6 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday. Suarez blasted a two-run shot in the fourth inning off of Pittsburgh starter Max Kranick in the loss. The veteran infielder spent much of the season struggling at the plate but he has really come on strong of late, batting .325 with eight homers and 14 RBI over his past 30 games. Overall, Suarez has a .197 average, 31 homers, 71 runs, and 79 RBI over 502 at-bats. He will take on Pirates starter Mitch Keller in Sunday's final game of the regular season.
