Ja Morant Drops 37 Points Against Cavaliers
3 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant went off in Wednesday's season opener, as the 22-year-old scored 37 points on 17-for-29 shooting from the field in the 132-121 victory against the Cavaliers. Morant added six rebounds, six assists, two blocks, two turnovers and one made three-point field goal in the contest. Morant executed numerous highlight reel plays in the game, and as long as the third-year guard can take a step forward with the three-point shot and make an improvement with the defensive stats, he will have a chance to produce early-round value across all fantasy formats as one of the most exciting young players in the NBA right now.
