3 years agoNew Jersey Devils defenseman Dougie Hamilton got things started on the right foot for the Devils on Thursday night. His early hard shot found a way past Spencer Knight's short side to give New Jersey an early 1-0 lead. It would be New Jersey's only goal of the night despite 46 shots on goal. Hamilton had four of those shots and four more scoring chances. He added two blocked shots and two hits as well.
