3 years agoWashington Capitals left-winger Alex Ovechkin just kept playing on Sunday night. He scored a goal, had six shots on net, and even fired in five scoring chances. This was all while playing 24:01. Only John Carlson (25:16) was on the ice more than Ovechkin. For further perspective. Ovechkin played over half the third period on Sunday and 7:42 of power-play time overall. The left-winger is 36-years young and showing few signs of slowing down even a bit.
