X-Rays On Justin Fields' Ribs Come Back Negative
3 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields (ribs) underwent X-rays on his injured ribs Sunday night and the results came back negative. The Bears rookie quarterback exited Sunday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens with bruised ribs and did not return. He will undergo additional testing on Monday. Chicago plays the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving, and it's unknown at this time if Fields will be cleared ahead of Thursday's game. The 22-year-old has struggled his rookie season, throwing for 1,361 yards and a 4:8 touchdown-to-interception ratio while rushing for 311 yards and two scores over 10 games in 2021. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the situation. Andy Dalton would be the Bears starting quarterback if Fields cannot suit up for Thursday's game.
