3 years agoLos Angeles Kings defenseman Sean Durzi made his NHL debut on Wednesday night and promptly scored and added an assist. Durzi played a hair less than 16 minutes and added a shot on goal and two blocked shots. With injuries and in need of a spark, the defenseman was called up to fill a third-pairing role. What resulted was unexpected as Durzi showed an ability to move the puck in and out of the defensive zone pretty well. He also had three scoring chances on Wednesday against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
