Ezekiel Elliott Dealing With Knee Injury, Cowboys "May Alter Touches"
3 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott (knee) is dealing with a bone bruise in his knee. He rushed for 25 yards on nine carries and a touchdown while catching six passes for 24 yards in the Thanksgiving game loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Cowboys may alter Zeke's touches as he deals with a bone bruise in his knee. Elliot has rushed for 760 yards on 160 attempts and eight touchdowns, with 52 receptions for 338 yards and two scores over 10 games in 2021. Tony Pollard is expected to see an increased role going forward after carrying the ball 10 times for 36 yards, catching all four of his targets for 32 yards, and returning three kickoffs for 129 yards, including a 100-yard touchdown in Thursday's loss. Pollard should be rostered in all league formats and is an RB3 with RB2 upside moving forward.
