3 years agoAnaheim Ducks backup goaltender Anthony Stolarz pitched in and stopped all 34 shots in a 4-0 shutout over the Ottawa Senators Friday. Stolarz was particularly stellar on the man disadvantage where he made 12 saves including several point-blank opportunities. Anaheim went up 1-0 late in the first period and never looked back as Stolarz shut the door. His patience was tested early and often as Stolarz faced 26 of the 34 shots overall during the first 40 minutes. Ottawa and Brady Tkachuk, in particular, were very active on their four power-plays but Stolarz was up to the task on Friday. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
