Rashaad Penny, Travis Homer Ruled Out For Monday Night
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks running backs Rashaad Penny (hamstring) and Travis Homer (calf) have been ruled out for Monday's game against the Washington Football Team. The Seahawks will be down to Alex Collins and DeeJay Dallas as the team's only healthy running backs. Penny initially injured his hamstring in the Week 11 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. According to Adam Jude of the Seattle Times, the Seahawks may place Penny on injured reserve. Homer sustained a calf injury in the Week 11 loss and was unable to practice this week. The Seahawks ultimately ruled out the 23-year-old for Monday Night Football. Collins will lead Seattle's backfield and handle most early-down work on Monday, while Dallas should see an expanded role on third down and passing situations. Collins is an RB3/flex play, while Dallas is an option in deep-league PPR formats against a Washington defense that ranks 30th in rush DVOA.
