Dontrell Hilliard Leads Titans In Rushing, Busts Out Long TD Run
3 years agoTennessee Titans running back Dontrell Hilliard rushed 12 times for 131 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 36-13 loss to the Patriots. He also lost a fumble and caught one of two targets for two yards. The 26-year-old showed off his wheels by busting out for a 68-yard touchdown run just before the end of the first half. He logged 31 offensive snaps, which split right down the middle with teammate D'Onta Foreman. Hilliard looked more explosive than Foreman and had five missed tackles, averaging 7.0 yards after contact per carry. The Titans have a bye in Week 13 but expect the Titans to lean heavily on the run with Foreman and Hilliard in Week 14 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
