3 years agoLos Angeles Kings defenseman Alexander Edler broke into the goal column on Thursday night against the Calgary Flames. Edler, in his younger days, was like a Swiss-Army knife when it came to padding fantasy hockey stat categories. Thursday night turned the clock back a little bit. Edler scored with less than two minutes left in the second period and added an assist in the first period, which opened the scoring. He had two shots on goal, four hits, and a blocked shot on goal. Edler now has 10 points in 22 games, making last season appear to be more of an outlier.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
