3 years agoVancouver Canucks right-winger Vasily Podkolzin has had some nice moments this season. He scored the lone goal on Saturday night for Vancouver during their 4-1 home loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins. He played 12:53 in all including 62 seconds on the man advantage. The Russian scored 6:18 into the second period to tie the game at 1 when Oliver Ekman-Larsson shot the puck towards the net. Podkolzin was able to see the puck and tap it past Tristan Jarry. It was his fifth goal of the season. One has to wonder when the Russian will see more of a top-six role with Vancouver's season almost over before the calendar year ends.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
