Darius Slayton Quiet In Week 13 Loss
3 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton caught two of seven targets for 13 yards in Sunday's 20-9 loss to the Miami Dolphins. He was second in the team in targets behind only Saquon Barkley (9) but could only reel in two of his seven targets. The 24-year-old had an expanded role in Week 13 with Kadarius Toney (quadriceps, oblique) and Sterling Shepard (quadriceps); both ruled out but failed to capitalize on his opportunity. Slayton has caught 21 passes for 280 yards and a touchdown over nine games in 2021. The Auburn product will look to bounce back and is a boom-or-bust flex against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 13.
