3 years agoCarolina Hurricanes defenseman Ethan Bear was scratched on Thursday night against the Calgary Flames. He is not battling any kind of injury. Bear had struggled a bit in his past three games seeing bottom pairing ice time. He then compounded the less time with more mental mistakes. Rod Brind'Amour seemed to think that maybe a rest and reset was needed for the young defenseman.
