3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell (head, knee) was ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. He could not practice this week, and the 49ers ultimately ruled the running back out. His next chance to return will be Week 15 against the Atlanta Falcons. Jeff Wilson is expected to lead the 49ers backfield, while JaMycal Hasty will provide a change of pace. The Bengals defense has allowed at least 100 yards and a touchdown to opposing running backs over its last three games. Wilson rushed for 50 yards on 19 carries and hauled in one catch for eight yards while filling in for Mitchell in the Week 11 win over the Jaguars. In last Sunday's loss to the Seattle Seahawks, the 26-year-old had a "flare-up" in his surgically repaired knee. He was a full participant in Thursday and Friday's practice and is all systems go for Sunday's game against Cincinnati. Wilson is expected to lead the 49ers backfield and is a solid RB2 against the Bengals in Week 14.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
